JCY Weekend Away 2010

Dear Parent,

Each year at JCY we organise a residential weekend away and this year we will be going to Houghton Chapel Centre, near Huntingdon, for the weekend between 26th and 28th March 2010.

We will leave after school on the Friday and return on Sunday afternoon. It is a brilliant centre and a beautiful village to be in. There is plenty to do nearby and we’ll have a big trip out somewhere on the Saturday afternoon. It’s a great chance for the young people to bond together as a group. It will be an action packed weekend, with good food and comfortable accommodation and we will also be looking at the Bible together over the weekend too.

We have managed to find somewhere even cheaper than last year (whilst just as nice!) The cost of the weekend will be £35 which includes accommodation, food and activities. However we don’t want money stopping people from going so if money is an issue please let me know and we will see what we can do.

We will be going together in cars so if a few parents were able to offer to drive that may be extremely helpful.

If your son or daughter would like to come could they please return the booking form along with either the full amount or a £20 deposit (cheques payable to Christchurch Baldock) as soon as possible.

We will send out more detailed information in early March.
